As a high school senior photographer, I’m always on the lookout for new and exciting locations to make each session unique. My studio serves Appleton, Hortonville, Menasha, Neenah, and Kimberly, and each of these areas has hidden gems perfect for capturing the personality and style of every senior.
Why Location Matters
The right setting can elevate a session from great to unforgettable. Whether it’s a rustic barn, an urban downtown vibe, or a serene nature trail, the backdrop plays a huge role in storytelling. My goal is to find fresh locations that complement each senior’s style while also providing variety for my portfolio. Last week, Paige and I explored a bit of downtown Menasha, and I really loved the whole vibe.
Hidden Gems & New Discoveries
Appleton
Downtown Appleton is always a favorite with its blend of historic brick buildings, trendy murals, and riverside views. Plus, we can hit the less-explored trails of Bubolz Nature Preserve for a natural, woodsy feel.
Menasha
Smith Park is a well-loved spot, but I’ve been scouting out some cool industrial areas near downtown for a modern, edgy aesthetic. Downtown Menasha is becoming such a hot spot with fun shops, restaurants and cafes and my studio is right there!
Neenah
Downtown Neenah has a classy, timeless feel with its charming streets and historic architecture. But did you know there’s a hidden dock near the marina that gives off serious coastal vibes? It’s a new favorite of mine!
