Another session with a returning family—and I truly love that so much. Not only because it means families trust me, but because I genuinely enjoy getting to see them again and again.

Gavin was seriously one of the most chill seniors I worked with this year, and his mom? She had me laughing the entire time.


We kicked off Gavin’s session wandering through some of my favorite spots in downtown Appleton. He was hoping for a clean, urban vibe, and downtown delivered perfectly.

The new Trout Museum is absolutely gorgeous and made for such a stunning backdrop.


Once we made our way through downtown, we headed toward the RiverHeath area. Gavin wanted to incorporate both his trumpet and his golf into his photos, which made the session feel extra personal. We started under the College Ave bridge for his trumpet shots, and I loved the mood of that location. From there, we moved to the docks and trails for golf images and some relaxed shots by the water.


We wrapped up the session right outside of Poplar Hall, using the beautiful wood backdrop to finish things off.

Such a fun, laid-back session with an awesome senior and a family I adore.
