Maddy's Beautiful Senior Session


I was so excited for this senior session! Maddy is such a sweet, lovely girl, and I just knew we were going to have fun together and create some amazing photos. I mean… just look at that smile!


We started Maddy’s senior session in one of my favorite fields in Neenah. The sun was shining in full force, so Mom stepped in as my official reflector assistant to help diffuse some of that direct light—and she did an amazing job! The light was beautiful, Maddy was glowing, and we captured so many gorgeous images right from the start.

Heading to Whistler's Knoll



After spending some time in the field, we headed over to Whistler’s Knoll, and the flowers were absolutely outstanding this time of year. Truly gorgeous!


We began along the little path near the butterfly garden, and I fell in love with every little detail. The bench, the colorful garden, and those incredible hydrangeas made the perfect backdrop for Maddy. And her white dress? Absolutely perfect. It complemented the soft colors and flowers so beautifully.

As we made our way up toward the patio, we found the cutest little patch of flowers. I knew immediately that I wanted to surround Maddy with them for a few portraits. There is just something so fun about finding those little pockets of beauty throughout a location and making them part of a senior session.


And, of course, I always have to grab a few photos with the corn cribs!

Maddy then changed into her third outfit, and we headed into the backyard. We captured some fun images by the adorable red building and then wandered into the greenery for a few more portraits. I especially loved that Maddy was willing to climb up onto that fun stump for some photos. These girls are seriously up for anything, and I love it!

Our last spot of the evening was the vineyard. Maddy changed back into that beautiful white dress, and we had so much fun capturing portraits tucked into the grapevines. The evening light was absolutely perfect, and the whole night felt effortless.


I adore every single image we captured during Maddy’s senior session. From the sunny field in Neenah to the beautiful gardens, greenery, and vineyard at Whistler’s Knoll, every location gave us something completely different—and Maddy made every one of them shine.

And because I always recommend making the most of your senior session experience, we even wrapped up the evening with a quick family session. It’s such a special way to document this season for the entire family, and I’m always happy when my seniors and their families take advantage of the opportunity.


Maddy, it was such a joy to spend this evening with you! I hope you always look back on these images and remember just how beautiful, confident, and loved you were during this special season of your life.
