The first session of 2026 was nothing short of magical! I had the joy of photographing Teresa, and we kicked off her senior session at a brand-new location for me this year—Whistler's Knoll. From the moment we arrived, I knew this spot was going to be something special, and it absolutely exceeded every expectation.

We spent the first part of the session wandering through the stunning gardens surrounding the property. Every corner offered another beautiful backdrop, and it was the perfect place to ease into the evening. The vibrant blooms, charming pathways, and peaceful atmosphere made for such a dreamy start.

Next, we made our way into the vineyard for one of the most unique parts of the session—photos with Teresa's duck! He kept us laughing the entire time with his big personality. Between the smiles, curious waddles, and a few perfectly timed photobombs, he completely stole the show. By the end, we captured the sweetest images of the two of them together, and yes—he even smiled for a few!

After wrapping up at Whistler's Knoll, we headed to one of my all-time favorite locations, Arrowhead Park in Neenah. This beautiful field never disappoints. The soft evening light, wispy grasses, and delicate wildflowers create the dreamiest setting, especially during golden hour.

Teresa chose the perfect flowing blue dress, which complemented the landscape beautifully. We captured some quiet, meaningful portraits of her with her Bible before shifting into a more playful part of the session. She twirled through the field, laughed freely, and embraced every moment, creating images that feel so genuine and full of joy.
